The list for this week's poll presents some interesting comparisons: Dolly Parton or Raquel Welch? Lee Remick or Susan Sarandon? I always try to have the list include one or two older icons or images of sexuality from the past. I'm intrigued to see how this one will play out.
You forget Susan Sarandon in "The Great Waldo Pepper!" In this list, it's got to be Lee Remmick.

I get so few comments on anything, I figured that asking for nominations would result in just a handful of responses, if that.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get through my own list of faves, I may ask for nominations "from the floor" as it were.
And anybody who has never seen Remick in "Anatomy..." has never really seen sex appeal used in such a quiet, compelling fashion.
