March Dressing 7--Tight Skirt

Slightly fetish-y office wear?

The white man-tailored blouse is from Kmart's Basic Editions line, in November 2014; the blue high-waist stretch skirt is from Kmart's Bongo line, in June 2012. the shoes are Mossimo "Valonia" blue patent pumps from Target in March 2009. Other accessories are a floral headband, and blue jewelry. I'm bare-legged due to the hosiery accident mentioned on Monday.

And a couple of portraits:

March Dressing 6--Easter Parade

If only I had the opportunity (or the courage) to actually go en femme on Easter!

The yellow-and-white suit is by Emily, bought at Ross in July 2015; the shoes are Karen Ornament white peep-toe pumps from Payless in March 2015. Other accessories are a white hat, blue jewelry, and white gloves. I was forced to go bare-legged when the only pair of hose I had readily available developed a massive run. I also have to do something about the brim of that hat...it used to be much less floppy (maybe using some spray starch on it?).

Some portraits:

I'll be showing off another outfit later this week; and please respond to the survey at the right (details here)!

This is a newer dress that is rapidly becoming a favorite:

The red belted dress is by Lennie for Nina Leonard, bought at K&G in September 2013; the shoes are Fioni "Hilt" red patent pumps from Payless in November 2009. Other accessories are a red bow, gold jewelry, and red tights.

March Dressing 4--Office Girl

A fitted blouse and a classic black pencil skirt...what else could this be?

The blue blouse with silver stripes is from Kmart's Jaclyn Smith line, but found in a thrift shop in July 2015; the black pencil skirt is from Fashion Bug in February 2011; the shoes are Fioni "In the Mix" navy felt peep-toe pumps, from Payless in February 2011. Other accessories are a silver bow, silver jewelry, and black hose.

March Dressing 3--Elegance

This in one of my oldest and most favorite dress...it's very elegant and pairs well with this pair of elegant (yet sexy) heels:

The red-and-black crepe dress is from Kmart's Jaclyn Smith line, 'way back in March 2009; the shoes are Dollhouse "Margaretta" black pumps with metal heels, from Shoe Dept. in January 2010. Other accessories are a red rosette headband, gold jewelry, and black hose.

And two portraits:

March Dressing 2--Polka Dots and Legs

I love polka-dots...and I love showing off my legs (always thought to be my most feminine feature):

The navy polka-dot blouse is from Kmart's Basic Editions line in June 2012; the white mini-skirt is by New York & Co., bought at Forman Mills in June 2013; the shoes are Madden Girl "Karlla" polka-dot pumps, bought at DSW in June 2011. Other accessories are a polka-dot bow, red jewelry, and natural hose. (And no, I hadn't realized when I put it together that all the elements of this ensemble were bought in June of succeeding years!)

And some nice portraits:
