The Coming Week

It looks like I'll be dressing on Monday and Friday; Tuesday I will be working at my local polling place, signing in voters.

I try to keep this blog unpolitical (though I suspect my leanings still come through), so all I'll say right here is that this is an important election. Everybody has at least a congressperson to vote for--get out and do so. Whether you think the GOP or the Dems belong in charge, I have one rule--if you didn't vote, you don't get to complain about the outcome.

Hallowe'en Week, 4

Closing out the week with, naturally, the outfit I'd wear Sunday if I dared:

Welcome back to Sissy Maid Dani.

Accessories include the polka dot hair bow, pearls, fishnet hose, and black mary-jane pumps. The boobs in that second shot are not entirely fake, but they are digitally enhanced.

Happy Hallowe'en to all--especially those who do go out en femme! More pics on Flickr.

The Training of Gwen: Journal Entry #3

Gwen slightly edited an earlier entry and then posted some new thoughts:

Monday and Wednesday
October 4 and 6
Black panties both afternoons. They are regular cut (50s) with full bottom. Black satin with lace banding around the waist. Still wearing the black slippers with two inch heel. Right now they are easy to get off if necessary. Still warm enough for shorts, so wore only my top with the panties and slippers (with shorts standing by). After an hour or so it seemed perfectly normal. Will look into a different pair of heels for next week. The wife is usually running errands in the afternoon but I have plenty of time to put slippers in the closet and my shorts back on if necessary.

Wednesday

October 13
Did my work this afternoon wearing the black panties (50s) and the black slippers. Slowly moving toward the holidays and not being able to dress in any meaningful way. It is a source of disappointment but it holds life’s truths about patience and persistence.

Wednesday and Thursday
October 20 and 21
The wife has taken a short trip and I had hoped to accomplish some Stepton training. But work on the outside of the house made it impossible. However, I was able to dress for the evening on both days. On Wednesday, I wore the blue niightie with matching drape and black slippers. On Thursday, I wore the pink nightie and matching jacket with pink slippers. On both nights I added the short auburn wig and black ribbon decoration. Then walked around outside and sat on our backyard bench for a time. It was almost warm with a light breeze. It was nice to imagine doing this for a full day at a time.

Friday
October 22
The wife is still away until evening and am now wearing long pants. So, I spent the afternoon in the white panties with the ruffled bottom, white satin garter belt and white lace topped stockings under my pants. Drove to pick up the mail this way. Thought about adding the white bullet bra under my shirt but didn’t do it this time.

Monday
October 25
Writing email this morning to Madame Dani wearing a pink short nightie. Can only do this briefly today, before I take my late morning shower. November through January is a hard time for dressing even for short periods of time. But wearing things under my clothes gets somewhat easier.

Gwen still hasn't added lipstick to her androgynous dressing sessions. I will continue to press her on it. I am pleased to see her take the dare of driving with lingerie on...but I want her to try it with heels as well.

Hallowe'en Week, 3

Thankfully, no disasters today!

I began the day with a last-minute addition to my plans for the week. I'd bought the red cami at Fashion Bug a few weeks ago and was looking for something to wear it, finally coming up with the idea of layering it with the pink striped blouse and navy skirt.

Other accessories are the light blue head band, silver jewelry, light hose, and blue patent pumps with the killer spike heels. Those really do make my legs look terrific, don't they?

Second outfit is the one that should have been the second outfit yesterday...my one and only really evening ensemble, the gold paisley top with the black handkerchief hem skirt.

Accessories are black head band, pearls, light hose and gold peep-toe pumps. I really should find a metallic gold head band to wear with this!

Why I Didn't Dress Twice Today

This will undoubtedly sound like a funny story to many of you...and in retrospect, it does to me, too...but it was nearly a disaster earlier today.

After dressing in the outfit displayed in the previous post, doing some photography, and beginning the pre-posting editing of same, I decided to go get a haircut. I really needed one and it would also make the new wig fit better. So I changed into male clothes and went out. The haircut took longer than expected and so I got back to the house later than anticipated, which meant I was rushing a bit to get into the second set of clothes. As I was adjusting my fake boobs--water-filled balloons--one of them burst! It drenched the bra and the top I was wearing and sent probably a pint of water all over the bedroom floor. So I went into the bathroom to start cleaning up...and as I started to remove the bra, the other one popped as well! Now I had two floors to mop up!

Now, a lot of this is my own damned fault--I'd been using the same pair of balloons for several weeks, and the latex had probably gotten pretty weak. Plus, if I'd taken my time, it wouldn't have happened either.

It all meant that there wasn't time to make a new set of boobs and all the other stuff needed to dress, so I gave it up for the day. Maybe tomorrow...

Hallowe'en Week, 2

Though I had prepared to dress in two different outfits today, I only managed one. The story of why is in the next post.

The one outfit is the very attractive zebra-print shirt dress from Target.

The accessories are a black head band, red jewelry, black belt, black hose and the croc print pumps.

More pics are on Flickr. With any luck, tomorrow will go better!

Hallowe'en Week, 1

Leading up to my "costume" for the holiday, today I'm wearing one fairly conservative look and one slightly sexy one.

The conservative look is this red paisley blouse and black slacks combo:

The accessories are a white hair bow, gold jewelry, white socks, and black pumps with a metal heel.

Going slightly more sexy, we have the blue Norma Kamali print t-shirt paired with the short, tight denim skirt:

Accessories are a blue hair bow, black belt, red jewelry, fishnet hose for added sex appeal, and the croc print pumps.

More pics on Flickr; two more days of dressing to come this week.

Dani's Best Look, week 14 results

Week 14 winner:

14. Kimono-sleeved two-piece dress in red, white, and black, red patent t-strap pumps

This week's entries:

15. Cowl-neck sweater, denim skirt, brown boots

33. Black-and-white polka-dot blouse, red belt, black straight skirt, black patent pumps

Mid-October Dressing, 4

Today starts out with the purple drape collar top teamed with the skirt from the hounds-tooth suit.

Accessories are white hair bow, black-and-white-jewelry, white belt, black hose and purple pumps.

The second outfit is the black-and-white animal print dress from Fashion Bug.

Accessories are white hair bow, multi-color scarf, red jewelry, black belt, light hose, and white pumps.

Is it just me or is there a little Carol Burnett in this shot?

More pics on Flickr.

That closes out my vacation week dressing. Guests are coming for the weekend, so tomorrow will be spent getting ready. Next week's dressing will depend on work schedule...but there will definitely be a Hallowe'en surprise!

Mid-October Dressing, 3

Today started with a little more seasonal dressing...combining the school-girlish sweater and turtleneck top with the polka-dot skirt:

As you can see, I've gone back to the shoulder-length blonde wig for today; I figured it was more in keeping with the younger look of this outfit. Accessories are the polka-dot hair bow, scarf, red and silver jewelry, white belt, white hose, and red baby-doll pumps.

The cheerleader pose on the floor seemed right for this ensemble...as did a little book perusal.

Second outfit went in a completely different direction...the red cocktail dress.

Accessories are the red hairband, pearl jewelry, red belt, black hose, and red patent spike heels. The digital makeup is slightly different as well--instead of the usual blue-eyed look I use with the blonde wig, I went with a more exotic dark-eyed appearance.

As for the wine glass...well, I did say it was a cocktail dress, didn't I? Cheers!

More pics on Flickr; my vacation dressing concludes tomorrow.

Mid-October Dressing, 2

More fall clothes to start with...the wool tartan skirt in gray and purple, teamed with a brand new black blouse from Fashion Bug.

Accessories are black headband, silver jewelry, dark hose and gray fabric pumps. It's a shame that the details of the blouse can't be seen in the photos...the entire bodice has small, sharp pleats.

Back to more summery looks for the second outfit--the blue, pink, and yellow print dress.

Accessories are a yellow hair bow, silver jewelry, light hose and blue peep-toe pumps.

More pics on Flickr; I hope to dress again both tomorrow and Thursday, schedule permitting.
