Rock October 15

...by trick-or-treating as a petticoated maid....

The maid uniform is by Rubies, bought at Halloween Adventures in April 2008; the shoes are Fioni "Loveit" black patent pumps, from Payless in May 2011. Other accessories are silver jewelry and white hose.

And, yes, I'm as likely to show up in public in this (even on Halloween) as I am to fly under my own power.

Rock October 14

...in a mix of fall colors...

The layered top is by RQT, bought at Burlington Coat Factory in January 2009; the blue-green leaf print skirt is by Blair, found in a thrift shop in April 2012; the shoes are Predictions "Karmen" blue patent pumps, from Payless in June 2013. Other accessories are a new brown fedora, Halloween-themed scarf, black-and-white jewelry, black belt, and white hose.

Actually, today was supposed to feature some new items (a turtleneck and a schoolgirl-like skirt), but the skirt turned out to be way too small, and the turtleneck was only bought to go with it, so both got returned.

And a portrait:

Rock October 13

...in a sweater dress and boots...

The brown sweater dress is from Kmart's Attention line, purchased in January 2012; the Merona "Marla" boots are from Target in September 2008. Other accessories are a pastel bow, scarf, blue jewelry, black belt, and black hose.

This portrait seems to capture a moment in an intimate conversation...

Rock October 12

..in red, white and blue...

The red turtleneck sweater is by Croft & Barrow, bought at Kohls in February 2009; the blue pleated skirt is a thrift-store find (the manufacturer is unknown--tags were removed) from June 2012; the shoes are Fioni "Hilt" red patent pumps, from Payless in November 2009. Other accessories are red fedora, gold jewelry, white belt, and black hose.

As always, portraits in hats are great:

Rock October 11

...in the return of the sexy sissy librarian....

The pink argyle twofer top is by NY Connection, found in a thrift shop in February 2013; the white skirt is by New York & Co., purchased at Foreman Mills in June 2013; the shoes are Fioni "Hilt" poppy patent pumps, from Payless in June 2009. Other accessories are a pink bow, glasses, scarf, red jewelry, pink belt, natural hose, and a book. (Look carefully, the book's title changes in every picture!)

Once again, two excellent portraits:

Rock October 10

..in a cute and casual cowlneck and jeans ensemble...

The red cowlneck sweater is from Kmart's Basic Editions line, bought in March 2013; the blue jeans are Fashion Bug Right Fit Yellow style, purchased in July 2010; the shoes are Dollhouse "Margaretta" black pumps with metal heels, from Shoe Dept. in January 2010. Other accessories are a red bow, black-and-white jewelry, and black belt.

I did my eye makeup a bit differently today. I normally work from the bottom up ~ color on my eyelids, darker in the crease, and then white under the brow. Today I did it in reverse order...and I think the result is very attractive and more dramatic in photography. So much so, that I couldn't make up my mind which portrait was best...so here are both:
