Enchanted April 14

Last of Wednesday's outfits and last for the traditional rainy month.

This sweater and skirt combo were bought from Kmart a couple of years ago. They still look swell together.

Accessories are gold jewelry, light hose and red spike-heeled pumps.

More pics on Flickr. Next week we move from April showers to May flowers...and I've chosen a bunch of outfits deliberately to see how they look with the new corset. There will also be at least one entirely new ensemble and two new pairs of shoes.

Enchanted April 13

I've figured out why I like polka dots so much--they are one of the few patterns (floral prints is another) that is exclusively feminine. You never see a guy wearing polka dots, except perhaps in a muted pattern on a tie, or for a silly costume.

Here's my pink polka-dot blouse from Kmart teamed with the elegant white pleated skirt found in a thrift store.

Accessories here are the white hat, silver jewelry, light hose, and fuchsia pink pumps.

More pics on Flickr; one more set of pics from Wednesday to post.

Enchanted April 12

The second outfit today combined the white man-tailored blouse from the Lee Rider line with a floral skirt picked up at a thrift store.

Saving time in the editing process, I just went with the somewhat jumbled background instead of creating a backdrop. Accessories are white hat, gold jewelry, white hose and neutral peep-toe pumps.

More pics on Flickr; I'll try to get the last two outfits posted tomorrow.

Enchanted April 11

Well, I did manage to get four outfits in for dressing/photo sessions today, but I will definitely not get them all posted today. Here's the first--the gray and white t-shirt dress from Target, worn for the first time with the corset and looking better than I think it ever has.

In order to save some set-up time, I didn't hang a backdrop, so I edited one in on these. May not do it for the rest of the shoot...takes too much time. Accessories are red and white jewelry, white hose, and gray fabric pumps.

I also picked up a new dress from Fashion Bug this afternoon; you won't see that one until next week, I'm afraid, along with some new shoes from Payless if they arrive in time.

More pics on Flickr; further outfits tonight and tomorrow.

Slick, Very Slick

Those of you who pay attention to such things will notice a new link in the list to the right--Smooth Slick n Shiny, a blog devoted to all things latex and rubber...including a good deal of forced feminization in the mix. Andy was good enough to leave a complimentary comment on one of my posts and I checked out his blog. You should, too.

Plans for post-Easter week

I had planned to do a lot of dressing this week...but a change in staffing at work (bunch of people took vacation time) has left me with just one weekday--Wednesday--off. I'm going to try to get two days' dressing/photo sessions done in one day. We'll see what happens.

Elisabeth Sladen, 1948-2011

I've been a Doctor Who fan since I first saw Tom Baker in the role in the late '70s. His "companion" in those years was journalist Sarah Jane Smith, played by the lovely Elisabeth Sladen. Sadly, Elisabeth lost a battle with cancer earlier today, passing away at the all-too-young age of 63. She had recently returned to her iconic role in the BBC's Sarah Jane Adventures.

The official announcement of her death is here.

Enchanted April 10

Jeans, a red camisole and a white jacket...casual but feminine...and sexy when the jacket comes off.

The combo of the corset and the strapless bra really makes the camisole work, doesn't it? Other accessories are red hat, gold jewelry, white belt and red baby-doll pumps.

I really like how this portrait came out:

More pics on Flickr; no further dressing this week, unfortunately--the wife is taking the rest of the week off.

Enchanted April 9

More ideas for an Easter outfit--not that I'm going out en femme next Sunday or any time soon.

Here's that summery print dress from Fashion Bug, worn for the first time with the corset.

It's interesting how the corset makes a big difference with some outfits and not so much with others; this is, I think, an example of not-so-much. OTOH, I still prefer the look to not having the corset. Accessories are yellow hair bow, light hose, black-and-white jewelry, and lynx-print mary-janes.

And here's a portrait shot:

More pics on Flickr; a very different outfit later today, after the poll results are posted.

Supersissy

Taking a break from the romance covers, here's an idea I've wanted to work up for months, and finally found the right images to work from to do it.

For the record, the Supersissy figure is from Supergirl's debut cover on Action Comics; the face is from one of Curt Swan's iconic images of the Boy of Steel, feminized by yours truly. The Lana figure is from a Superboy cover, and the logo is worked up from the traditional Silver Age Superboy logo.

Enchanted April 8

I picked up this pastel blue straight skirt at a thrift store last month; this is only the second time I've worn it, here with the bright blue Rider blouse.

The corset really does wonders for the look of this skirt...as you'll see if you take a look at the previous session with it (a sample is included below). Accessories are silver jewelry, light hose and navy blue suede peep-toe pumps.

Here's the shots of the skirt from last time--as you can see, even the tight belt doesn't define the waist the way the corset does here.

I can't wait to try out the corset with some of my slinkier outfits--like the gray-and-white t-shirt dress (coming soon) or the green sweater dress. I think it'll make the maid's uniform look even better.

More pics on Flickr; next dressing next week; more romance comics over the weekend.
