Answers to Common Questions

Some more advice for our partners from this site:

2. Can I stop him? 7. Will he ever give it up?

No, he will probably try hard go along with your wishes, but he cannot help it, it is part of him.Well you could, but only temporarily. The chances are, you will only make it a big guilty secret. Then neither of you will be happy, and the issue will be unresolved. There is increasing medical evidence that some men really can have a female brain in a male body. A tiny area in the centre of the brain concerned with gender identity (not sex) has been proven to be small in females and those who want to look like them, but large in males. It will therefore be emotionally important to him when he dresses, to feel real as a woman for a time by wearing makeup, false breasts and something to tuck away any masculine bits. But he definitely can't stop himself, even if he promises to, so don't try to make him if you love him, as it is cruel.

4. Should I stop him or encourage it?

Tell him exactly how you feel, calmly and slowly. You may feel frustrated because your life seems no longer safe and as you expected. Restore control by learning that crossdressing is not a threat to your relationship, in fact it can strengthen it. Communicate honestly and both try to compromise, explore facts and feelings, rather than argue. Be prepared to listen carefully to what he has to say.

April Dressing 5: A Different Stripe

I like the way the geometric stripes of this dress curve around my curves....

The geo-striped dress is by Tacera, bought at Ross in July 2015; the shoes are Christian Siriano "Kate" turquoise/white platform peeptoe pumps from Payless in May 2015. Other accessories are a striped bow, silver and chunky jewelry, and natural hose.

These portraits came out especially well:

April Dressing 3: Sex and Violet

Actually, I generally call this color "purple," myself. Some interesting notes of the derivation of both names:

Violet: Middle English: from Old French violette, diminutive of viole, from Latin viola ‘violet.’

Purple: Old English (describing the clothing of an emperor), alteration of purpre, from Latin purpura ‘purple,’ from Greek porphura, denoting mollusks that yielded a crimson dye, also cloth dyed with this.

Anyway, here are the pictures:

Those are real boobs in the third photo, thanks to padding and a push-up bra.

The purple top is by Naturally, bought at Forman Mills in June 2013; the faux leather pants are from Kohl's Dana Buchman line, bought in April 2013; the shoes are Dollhouse "Harlot" croc-print pumps from Shoe Dept. in January 2010. Other accessories are a purple bow, striped belt, and gold jewelry.

I tried something new with my eyebrows, darkening them with the brown eye-shadow. I have to get the shape a bit better, but they photograph well.

Do I Still Fancy "Her"?

Another link to advice from this site:

"I'm not becoming a lesbian, am I?"

Highly unlikely. What does it matter these days how people label you, even if you were. The ultimate TV fantasy may be to have lesbian sex, but remember this is a paradox. He remains male, and so you definitely cannot have a lesbian relationship unless in fantasy. Some women question their sexual identity at a time of crisis in a relationship. This is no more than fear of what people may think of your healthy role-play. You are both the same people you were before. He is physically a man, you are a woman; so make love to him, whatever clothes you wear!

Women are the strong sex where feelings are concerned, and you can not only survive, but really enjoy the variety. It is all an attitude of mind; you have the power to make the most of it. And it is actually extremely exciting sometimes to treat him like exactly like a lady, you know what I mean girls...
