June Dressing Nine: Jumping In

And now, a much more recent acquisition to close out the weekend:

The navy jumpsuit is by Spense Woman, bought at Ross in June 2016; the shoes are A New Day "Cady" stiletto sock booties from Target in January 2018. Other accessories are a white bow, scarf, red belt, and silver jewelry.

When I bought the jumpsuit, I had been looking for one for about a year; I really wanted one with the straight, skinny leg look...but none of those ever seemed to come in my size. I have grown to love this one, though.

And two more quite successful portraits:

Tomorrow a return to more standard posting...with Archelle, artwork, and some philosophical musings on something or other.

June Dressing Eight: Born to the Purple

Not going back quite so far into the wardrobe past this time:

I do love the sleeves on this top.

The black-and-white pencil skirt is by Soho Apparel; the purple top is by Sunny Liegh--both were bought at Burlington Coat Factory in October 2014; the shoes are Dollhouse "Harlot" croc-print pumps from Shoe Dept. in January 2010. Other accessories are a purple bow, gold jewelry, and natural hose.

The portraits continue to be quite attractive:

One outfit to go.

June Dressing Seven: Well-Suited

Another oldie-but-goodie, my pinstripe suit:

The blue pinstripe suit is by Courtenay, bought at Burlington Coat Factory way back in July 2008; the red blouse is by Lee Rider, bought at Kmart in September 2017; the shoes are Fioni "In the Mix" navy felt peep-toe pumps from Payless in February 2011. Other accessories are a blue bow, scarf, silver jewelry, and natural hose.

I really think my eyebrows came out well when I did my makeup for this shoot:

Two more outfits and the review of the three-day dressing session is done.

June Dressing Six: Zebra Crossing

Another long-time fave dress...

The zebra-print dress is from Target's Merino line in January 2010; the shoes are Brash "Luster" black platform pumps from Payless in March 2019. Other accessories are red jewelry, black belt, and black hose.

The portraits from this session are quite nice:

There will be three more outfits before the posting of the weekend dressing is complete.

June Dressing Five: Red and Black

Another of my oldest dresses...and still an absolute knockout...

Is the expression in that last one perhaps a little too Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard?

The red-and-black crepe dress is from Kmart's Jaclyn Smith line in March 2009; the shoes are Fioni "Hilt" red patent pumps from Payless in November 2009. Other accessories are a red floral headband, gold jewelry, black belt, and black hose.

Only one portrait this time...but it's a cutie:

Still more outfits to come...

June Dressing Four: Pink and Polka-Dots

A cute look, even on middle-aged me...

The polka-dot skater dress is by Star Vixen, bought at Forman Mills in March 2014; the shoes are new, another Payless close-out deal--Dexflex Comfort "Karma" pink suede pumps purchased in May 2019 (a closer look to the right). Other accessories are a pink polka-dot bow, black-and-white jewelry, and natural hose.

The portraits again came out quite well...

June Dressing Three: Getting the Boot

Usually, I wouldn't wear boots at the beginning of summer, but these were one of my last purchases from Payless's close-out, and I didn't want to wait three months to show them off.

The faux suede skirt is by Venezia Jeans, a thrift shop find in June 2013; the sparkly sweater is from Target's Mossimo line in September 2012; the new boots (seen closer at right) are Christian Siriano "Maerys" violet/black boots with four-inch heels--as noted, from Payless in May 2019. Other accessories are a brown hat, chunky jewelry, and natural hose.

I like both of these portraits, perhaps because I just like the I look in hats!

Many more outfits to come from this three-day dressing binge!
