This is my chance to talk about how I feel about Christmas. I'm with Charles Dickens, who put these words into the mouth of Scrooge's nephew, Fred: "I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round -- apart from the veneration due to its sacred name and origin, if anything belonging to it can be apart from that -- as a good time: a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. And therefore, uncle, though it has never put a scrap of gold or silver in my pocket, I believe that it has done me good, and will do me good; and I say, God bless it!"

There is practically no version of A Christmas Carol that I cannot stand to watch at least once, although I have a favorite--the 1984 TV version starring George C. Scott, which I consider closest to both the spirit and the letter of Dickens' work. I will confess a soft spot for The Muppet Christmas Carol, in part because my kids love it so (despite their being college graduates now).

I promised Mistress Amber I would post my reaction to her essay, so here it is:

I find most of what Mistress Amber wrote to be true, for me and the other sissies I have encountered. Some of it is a bit harsh, such as her emphasis on physical chastisement--paddlings, even whippings. In my experience, only sissies who are truly submissive masochists need or desire that kind of discipline. Most sissies respond well to simply being denied sexual release. Often the best punishment is to push their feminization beyond their usual boundaries--put a mature male into toddler attire to emphasize his dependence on the dominant woman, for instance.

Do I agree that all males can be feminized? To an extent--I think any man who experiences wearing nylon, silk, or satin undies will soon prefer them to his cotton briefs or boxers. A bra is an erotic thing to most men--and being allowd (or made) to wear one will inspire arousal in them. And, of course, all men love the look of legs in hose and heels...even their own legs.

Would society be better off if all men were made to be sissies? It would certainly be gentler and kinder than it is now. And probably prettier, as well. Does every man have the capacity to be as adorable as sissy annie? Or as sexy as I imagine Mistress Amber's sissy pussy must be? In all honesty, no--but a few curves and a little makeup will create a feminine image for even the most masculine of males.

The Nature and Nurture of Sissies

Mistress Amber Morgan is a dominant woman who believes in the feminization of men (in fact, she believes all men can be successfully “sissified” and should be). She is a friend of Ms. Holly, sissy annie’s Mommy; she first got in touch with me by commenting on this blog. This essay was requested by me and has, to an extent, been augmented with comments from our e-mail exchange.

The male brain is quite naturally feminine but also very weak. How a sissy dresses should always be up to his female owner. No matter how feminine they look, males should never be permitted to wear pants. I certainly agree 100 percent that sissies should never be allowed to wear pants. The male brain is weak and a sissy's behavior only shows why society would be better off with women wearing the pants and running things. All males are sissies deep down and the best thing we can do for them is put them into permanent chastity and frills. Of course, being back in pants is horrifying to any sissy and she will soon beg to be put back into sissy outfits.

After being in dresses, sissies hate wearing pants again or the threat of acting like a boy. I have helped guide mothers using petticoating for many years and find it interesting that even the most resistant brats learn to love their dresses and fear being put back into pants. Males are naturally very feminine. They are taught to fear their femininity. Frilly dresses bring out this natural feminine personality. An extended period of time wearing dresses ensures that a male fully embraces his femininity. That triggers their brain to reject all things masculine, especially wearing pants.

Sissies and bratty boys under strict petticoating are the only ones who curtsy now. Learning to curtsy and sit properly in your frilly dresses is a must. I love the sissy annie’s mommy takes care of her and ensures she always acts as a proper sissy should. While I understand that she may not like being spanked, it is required. Unfortunately she was born male and no matter how good of a sissy she becomes her male brain will still mess up. In the situation of the adult male sissy who is feminized and not age-regressed, there are many roles that are suitable.
