Leap Month 14

Just one outfit today. When I first bought this dress this time last year--from Kmart's Route 66 line--I was concerned it was far too youthful for me. But after 12 months or so, I remain convinced it was a good purchase--we all need a few outfits that make us feel like pretty young things, don't we?

Accessories are polka-dot bow (which only adds to the youthful feel), black-and-white jewelry, black hose, and short tan boots. (And when I bought those a few weeks ago, I knew they were destined to go with this dress!)

Leap Month 13

I think of this as a day-into-night outfit...easily something that could be worn to the office and then out for a date. Appropriate for Valentine's Day, right? The animal print dress is from Fashion Bug.

Accessories are white bow, pearls, black belt, black hose and croc-print heels.

Leap Month 12

When I first bought this gown last spring, I wasn't completely sure it was "me"...but now, with each time I wear it, I adore it a little more. It's from Fashion Bug, and I think they consider it sort of lounging attire...but I see it as a truly gorgeous Grecian gown.

Accessories are pale blue headband, silver jewelry, chain belt, natural hose and blue peep-toe pumps.

I hadn't intended to have my head turned from the camera in that second shot, but the result was so lovely and feminine, I'm glad I did. And both these portraits came out so well, I couldn't decide which to post....

Leap Month 11

A decidedly office-appropriate look: white pleated blouse (a thrift-store find) and the purple-gray tartan wool skirt from Target.

Accessories are a white print bow, gold jewelry, natural hose, and gray fabric pumps.

Leap Month 10

This pink-and-gray minidress is from Target's Exhilaration line, purchased a few years ago. I keep trying to get some cleavage into the low-cut bodice, without much success.

Accessories are pink bow, silver jewelry, patterned tights, and poppy pink patent pumps.
