The final outfit for May is another garden-party look, I think.
The yellow blouse is by Laura Scott and the yellow skirt by Queen Casuals, both found (serendipitously) on the same thrift shop visit in July 2012; the shoes are Christian Siriano "Shanghai" neutral peep-toe pumps from Payless in April 2011. Other accessories are white hat, scarf, pearls, gloves, and natural hose.
Is that pose on the left just a touch too "Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct"?

Every girl should have one ~ my little black dress:
The little black dress is part of Target's Mossimo line from February 2010; the shoes are Dollhouse "Margaretta" black pumps with metal heels from Shoe Dept. in January 2010. Other accessories are black rosette headband, pearls, and patterned tights.
Is this portrait as sexy as I think it is?

Is this summery enough for the season?
Both the yellow t-shirt and skirt are from Fashion Bug in June 2010; the shoes are Fioni "Knotty" yellow canvas sling-back peep-toe pumps from Payless, also in June 2010. Other accessories are yellow bow, red jewelry, scarf, white belt, and natural hose.

Pleats and polka-dots...is there any combination more feminine?
The blouse is by Lee Rider, bought at Kmart in August 2008; the maker of the red polka-dot pleated skirt is unknown ~ it was a thrift shop find in November 2011 and the tags had been removed; the shoes are Fioni "Kassie" red patent t-strap pumps from Payless in January 2009. Other accessories are white hat, scarf, black-and-white jewelry and natural hose.
As always, portraits in hats are pretty and elegant.

The blue-and-black t-shirt dress is by No Boundaries, bought at Wal-Mart in September 2012; the shoes are Fioni "In the Mix" navy felt peep-toe pumps, from Payless in February 2011. Other accessories are red bow, red jewelry, and blue tights.
I forgot to put on earrings...does it make a difference?

What with the hat and the pettis, I suppose I'm ready to go square-dancing, right?
The blue blouse is by Lee Rider, from Wal-Mart in January 2010; the floral crepe skirt is Jaclyn Smith from Kmart, but found in a thrift shop in July 2011; the shoes are Fioni "LaMode" light blue peeptoe pumps from Payless in April 2010. Other accessories are straw hat (actually from my male wardrobe), black-and-white jewelry, petticoats, and natural hose.
I cleaned up the eye makeup; it looks better, right?

New clothes! Would you believe this lovely dress cost me just $10...thanks to a clearance rack at Kohl's and a $10 off coupon!

Flickr: One Million Views
At some point in the last few hours, my Flickr account passed the one million views marker, meaning that across all my pictures and sets, my material there has been viewed one million times! I consider this remarkable, since I began the account on December 1, 2008...and reached 200K views on August 25, 2009; 500K on November 11, 2010 (at which time I moved all the art/cartoon pieces to a different account); and 750K just under a year ago on May 31, 2012. I currently have 8,326 items in my photostream on Flickr.
For the record, this blog ~ which began on January 1, 2007 ~ has some 863,429 page views as of this writing, meaning I am closing in on the one mil mark here as well. I am also within a few posts of passing 2000 posts here in that time.

The red ruffled blouse with sequins is by Notations Woman, found in a thrift shop in April 2012; the black swing skirt is by JBS Ltd., bought at Fashion Bug in March 2011; the shoes are Fioni "Loveit" black patent pumps from Payless in May 2011. Other accessories are red fedora, gold jewelry, pettis, and natural hose.
