June Dressing Nine: Jumping In

And now, a much more recent acquisition to close out the weekend:



The navy jumpsuit is by Spense Woman, bought at Ross in June 2016; the shoes are A New Day "Cady" stiletto sock booties from Target in January 2018. Other accessories are a white bow, scarf, red belt, and silver jewelry.

When I bought the jumpsuit, I had been looking for one for about a year; I really wanted one with the straight, skinny leg look...but none of those ever seemed to come in my size. I have grown to love this one, though.

March Dressing 12--Androgyny?

This reminds me of my old friend Bobbi, one of the most successful crossdressers I've ever known personally. (You can read about how I met her here.) As I noted in that posting, Bobbi would sometimes do full makeup and wig...and then don a traditional Navy uniform, what sailors sometimes call a "cracker-jacks," after the outfit worn by the iconic character on the snack box.

This jumpsuit isn't exactly a sailor suit, and I haven't got the figure Bobbi did, but it's decidedly androgynous in some ways:

April Dressing 3: Set to Jump?

I think I've finally gotten the jumpsuit to look the way I always envisioned it...

August Dressing 1--Jumpsuit Redux

This is my second time wearing this jumpsuit; in an attempt to make it work a bit better, I added a wide belt.

June Dressing 4--Ready to Jump...

...in my new jumpsuit.



It's by Spense Woman, bought at Ross earlier this week. The shoes are Dollhouse "Margaretta" black pumps with metal heels, from Shoe Dept. in January 2010. Other accessories are a silver bow, scarf, and silver jewelry. I was hoping for a look with less flared pants, but all the ones I saw like that didn't come in my size. I think I can make this one look a bit better by rolling up the sleeves a bit and adding a wide, tight belt.



You'll note I am posing in a different location. It's very hot and humid, so I'm working in the part of the house that's air-conditioned. I should have covered that fanlight in the door...and I did for the next set of pics.
