No-No November 9

Today ends the sweater collection, beginning with this little sweater minidress.

This cute little dress is from Kmart's Route 66 line, purchased in October 2010; the shoes are Jaclyn Smith "Jubilee" suede ankle boots, also from Kmart, bought in January 2012. Other accessories are a print bow, gold jewelry, and black hose.

The November video ~ to be posted tomorrow ~ also features this outfit. And both portraits turned out well:

No-No November 8

An unusual twofer top, in which both the blouse and sweater are red (with the blouse fabric being satin), paired with an elegant white pleated skirt.

The top is by Apt. 9 Woman, a thrift-store find back in June 2012; like the top, the skirt was also found in a thrift shop in February 2011 ~ it's by Lynda Smith Swann; the shoes are Fioni "Hilt" red patent pumps, from Payless in November 2009. Other accessories are a red rosette headband, blue-and-silver jewelry, red belt, and suntan hose.

No-No November 7

More sweaters with this very short, very tight sweater dress:

The sweater dress is from Kmart's Attention line in January 2012; the shoes are Christian Siriano "Shanghai" neutral peep-toe pumps from Payless in April 2011. Other accessories are a print bow, scarf, tan belt, gold jewelry, and suntan hose.

All My Footwear Addendum

Bought two new pairs of shoes this week:

This is the first pair of shoes I've ever found in a thrift shop; not sure what I can wear them with...perhaps the blue velvet dress? The Grecian gown? Some of the tops with silver threads?

No-No November 6

More office appropriate wear ~ a pink twofer top and a checkered skirt.

A very business-like look today: my tan suit.

The suit is by T. Milano Woman, bought at Foreman Mills in January 2012; the red turtleneck is actually from my male wardrobe; and the shoes are new ~ I'll have a separate posting about them later. Other accessories are red bow, gold jewelry and natural hose.
