For the next several months, all my outfits will be black-and-white. Furthermore, I will do the photos in monochrome, with editing to try to emulate the glamour photography of the 1940s and '50s. Here's the first outfit:
The white man-tailored blouse is from Kmart's Basic Editions line in November 2014; the black faux leather skirt is from Target's Xhilaration line in October 2013; the shoes are American Eagle "Javelin Jetson" black oxfords from Payless in December 2013. Other accessories are a white bow, and black-and-white jewelry. Temperatures and humidity are high, so I'm bare-legged.
I'm particularly pleased with how the portraits turned out.
