Men We'd Love to See Feminized, Week 16

Tom Hanks

An Early Fall Adventure

In between outfits today, I went on one of my "daring adventures". I left on all my lingerie--even the bra (unstuffed)--pulled on my jeans and t-shirt, and drove...in the gray heels...to get lunch at a drive-thru. It's the first time I've driven in heels in months--and if you've never tried it, you should. It's an entirely different experience...strangely sexy to feel that completely different contact between the pedals and your feet.

Layering 2

This is a somewhat more risque version of the layered look...the under-piece is just a lace-edged camisole. The over-shirt is really a shirt--one of my male dress shirts. It's all paired with that youthful denim skirt.

Accessories are the black headband, gold jewelry, white belt, fishnets, and those killer blue patent spike heels. Oh, and about that second pic--something about those shoes puts me in "imperial queen" mode for some reason.

More pics on Flickr. Next dressing and photo session planned for Thursday.

Last Dressing of September

For my first outfit in this last week of September, I chose my very comfortable, somewhat sexy gray and white t-shirt dress. I accented it with the wide red belt.

For an even sexier look, I accessorized with the fishnet stockings. Other accessories are the black headband, the gray pumps and gold jewelry. Question for commenters: Would this have pulled together better with red shoes? Or, alternatively, the black belt?

More pics on Flickr, and a second layered outfit later today.

Layering 1

Trying to come up with new ideas for outfits, I realized that "layering" is something that women do all the time: wearing something light, like a t-shirt, under a blouse, and letting both be seen.

So I decided to give it a try. I'll be experimenting with different combinations over the next week or two. Today, we have my pink heart t-shirt under the blue-striped blouse, with the black straight skirt.

Accessories: white hose, black mary-janes, silver jewelry.

More pics on Flickr and more on this idea (plus some others) next week.

Old Dress, New Shoes

I went shopping yesterday...starting with Payless, hoping to find any of those shoes I've been searching for. Still no luck. I'm giving up...I'll check Payless out occasionally, as I've always done, and if I see one of those styles, I'll pick it up when I can afford it.

But I also went to Wal-Mart, looking for inexpensive t-shirts for a set of outfits you'll begin to see later today...and found a surprise! I'd first seen these shoes on a woman at a museum the wife and I visited and secretly admired them. I figured they came from some department store or something and that I'd never be able to afford them or even find them in my size.

Imagine my surprise when I spotted them at Wal-Mart and in my size 11! (Wal-Mart rarely has much of anything above a 9....)

As you can see, they're a mary-jane style in a brown plaid, with three-inch blocky wooden heels. Aren't they as cute as all get-out?

So, what to wear them with? Well, the obvious answer seemed to be my fave brown knit dress from Kmart...and sure enough they look smashing together:

More pics on Flickr and another outfit later today.

First of Fall Dressing--Second Outfit

I don't think I've ever really come up with a short-hand name for this outfit. I do know that I get compliments on it every time I post pictures taken in it. This time, it's slightly different, as I added the wide black belt to it.

That final shot was really an accident...I was moving my hand for a completely different pose when the flash went off. But the pose is very feminine...although a little like I'm giving a papal blessing!

Other accessories are the black headband, gold jewelry, black hose and red patent t-strap pumps.

More pics on Flickr and further dressing later this week!

First of Fall Dressing--Little Red Dress

This is the ruffled party dress I bought at Wal-Mart last winter. I added the wide red belt to help define the waist.

Accessories are black hose, red peep-toe pumps and pearl and silver jewelry. More pics on Flickr and another outfit later today.

Thinking Pretty

Nightgown and slippers

Here's a quick look at me in my nightgown and the new marabou slippers:

Maybe some more posting this evening....

Old Clothes, New Ideas

So, I pulled out some of my older outfits to try some new ideas for them...

I started with an old fave...the denim skirt with the pink heart t-shirt. At first, I was going to try this combo with the wide black belt, but it didn't really gel. So I went back to the white belt and added the scarf...worn this time as a sort of bandanna...and one of the headbands.

Oh...and I'm blonde this week and next.

The second outfit for today was the red-and-black tunic and skirt...except I decided to tuck the top inside the skirt and use the wide red belt instead of the skinny black one that came with the ensemble. Now this I really liked--anything that helps to define my waist is a plus. And I went with a newer pair of shoes...the red fabric slingbacks I bought over the summer.

More pics are on Flickr.

The wife is going on a business trip over the weekend, but unfortunately, I have some social and business obligations as well, so dressing will really not be an option. But...I will be able to have the glorious luxury of sleeping in my satin nightgown! And to finally use my sexy marabou mule slippers...I promise some pictures.

More Shopping Disappointment

Went to Wal-Mart today to see if they had anything I'd like...and, no, not a thing. I suspect Fall 2009 won't be my season.

And I got a return e-mail from Payless about the shoes I've been looking for. That wasn't much help either. But they did suggest that I could ask the store clerk to use something called the "Lot Locator" to find them. Wasn't clear if that would just tell me where the nearest store that has them is, or if they could actually have them delivered to a local outlet, though.

I'll give it a shot next week.

In the meantime, I pulled out some older stuff for the next round of dressing, including a couple of outfits I haven't worn in a while. Now, all I need is some new ideas for poses....Hmmmmmm.....

More Pants

Originally, this outfit was going to be yesterday afternoon's dressing/photo session, but last-minute errands got in the way. At any rate, this session had so many attractive poses, I had difficulty deciding on just two to post here (the rest are, as usual, on Flickr).

After the session this morning, I went out shopping, hoping to find new stuff for later this week and next. Absolutely no luck, though. Burlington had sold out of the lovely suit I'd seen last time I was there (at least in any size I could remotely hope to fit in) and Target still seems to be holding off on getting in the fall line. I did see one nice black dress...but I have so much black stuff I hesitated to get it. They've also finally begun to get in some new shoes and there's a gorgeous pair of gray suede mary-janes...but I'll have to wait 'til next pay day to afford those--hope they're still there in size 11!

I also checked Payless again for all those beautiful styles they've had on their website, and still none of them are in the stores. So, today, I sent an e-mail to their customer service to inquire.

Men We'd Love to See Feminized, Week 14

Tobey Maguire

Does Anyone Still Wear a Hat?

[Brownie points to the first person who comments and tells me where that headline comes from.]

Every time I do a photo session with a hat I find myself asking: "Why don't I look as good in a hat as Ingrid Bergman did in Casablanca?"

Anyway, here are a couple of shots en chapeau:

BTW, does that first shot work at all...or is it just too "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm"? Or maybe the problem is that, like the great Bullwinkle J. Moose, "I gotta get another hat"?

Again, more pics on Flickr...and another photo session this afternoon.

Pants Can Be Sexy

In my younger dressing days, I never wore pants as a girl. After all, I figured, I can wear pants all the time, why should I do it when I want to look like a girl?

But in my return to dressing, I discovered both the comfort and the glamour of women's trousers. I have three pair--one in black, one in pinstripe, and a pair of orange palazzo lounging slacks. Today, I'm doing some photography with the business-like ones.

To start, here's the black pants, worn with the top from the red Jaclyn Smith ensemble (a new combination), the wide black belt, new grey pumps, and silver jewelry:

I suspect each of these is destined to take a place among my favorite pictures of myself. The standing one is just so natural and casual, yet mildly sexy in its forthrightness. The seated one is also casual and natural, and has a feminine look as well.

More pics on Flickr, and more here later.

Don't I Wish

A couple of manipulated images of yours truly, based on pics from the photo sessions last week.

I'm proud of this one because the figure--as improved as it is--still looks natural. It looks like the figure I could have through a combination of weight loss and some moderate waist-cinching.

This one, on the other hand, is far more imaginative--that waist and hips could only come through severe corseting...and the legs have been quite deliberately lengthened to truly fantasy proportions. This is almost cartoon-like, but damned sexy!

Say Hello to Bathgate

It occurs to me I've never introduced my readers here to the work of one of my favorite artists.

Bathgate 212 creates some of the loveliest and sexiest TV art I've ever seen, all based on the feminization of animated characters, both human and not. Here's a couple of samples:

BG isn't terribly prolific...his work takes time and effort. I'd say he averages a new image every couple of months. But more of his work can be seen at his Flickr page:

Pre-Labor Day Dressing, Part Four

This outfit is made up of two items I'd never put together before. The top is the red one from my very first purchase at Wal-mart almost two years ago; the skirt is the very attractive and sexy checked skirt from Kmart, purchased this summer. The combination was more successful than I'd imagined.

Here's a pose I've never done before--reclining on the floor, resting my arms on the ottoman. It's surprisingly girlish in effect.

The second pose here is an attempt to duplicate a fave pose seen on red-carpets all the time...legs together, looking back over the shoulder. It always seems sexy and coquettish when done by the likes of Hayden Panatierre and Alyssa Milano. I don't seem to have quite pulled it off.

(OK...I'm nowhere near as cute as either of them--but you know what I mean!)

Accessories are gold jewelry, black belt, headband, fishnet hose, and red baby-doll pumps.

More pics on Flickr.

Not sure if I'll be able to dress next week...lots of appointments planned. One thing for certain--next time I do, it'll be several variations with pants.

Pre-Labor Day Dressing, Part Three

I started today with the new dress from Burlington Coat Factory. It's a brown knit dress in a stretchy fabric...and thank goodness it is stretchy, because, girls, it is tight! So tight, in fact, that I first feared I would have to take it back as too small.

But I worked it out. First of all, it is one of the few dresses I own that I have to step into, like a skirt, rather than pull over my head. I also discovered I had to slip my boobs in after getting the dress on. It zips up the back...and with another person's help, I might have gotten it zipped all the way...but I decided it didn't look bad with the "open" back.

I like the length, I like the faux wrap styling, I like the detail of the little buckle. It is elegant and comfortable (yes, despite being tight). If I could wear it out, it would be too a slightly fancy, but not formal, party.

Accessories are pearl and silver jewelry, headband with rosette, fishnet hose, and bone pumps. I chose the fishnets to add a touch of sex to the outfit.

I really like the seated pose...looks like someone just walked in I wasn't expecting!

More pics on Flickr and another outfit (but not new) later today.

Pre-Labor Day Dressing, Part Two

Well, the day didn't go exactly as planned. Just before noon, I got a phone call that required an errand this afternoon...but I still managed to get in a second outfit and photo session. I hope to do better on Thursday.

This is the second of the new dresses from Kmart. I didn't realize how short this one is until I looked at the pics...and discovered my stocking tops showed in every one! (They don't anymore...I did a judicious editing to make them disappear.) Perhaps a less generous bosom would make the hem hang a bit lower!

Accessories are silver jewelry, nude hose, and the new charcoal gray fabric pumps. Here's a close-up of those:

I think the next time I wear this...in a month or so, maybe...I will dress it up with the pink scarf and the pink pumps.

More pics on Flickr, more to come on Thursday.
