Another very successful photo session, IMO. Accessories are black hairband, black and white jewelry, wide black belt, black hose and black mary-jane pumps.

Recapping 2010 so far 1

As previously noted, I'm going to spend the next few dressing sessions recapping the clothes I've bought so far in 2010, starting with this lovely cowl-necked blue sweater dress from Target.





Accessories are blue hair bow, silver jewelry, black belt, dark hose and blue peep-toe pumps (also a 2010 purchase). I was really pleased with this photo session, so I hope you'll take a look at all the pics on Flickr. There will be another posting this afternoon.

Dani's Photo Album, Part One

So, what did I have planned for all these photo manipulations I've been posting, other than showing off my skills at this stuff? Well, here's the first in a series:







There will be more as I come up with suitable captions. And there are still some manipulations I've done that I haven't shown you yet.

Blue Jean Baby for Real

So, here are the women's blue jeans. They're from the Fashion Bug "Right Fit" line...in the yellow tag "straight" configuration. (They also come red--moderately curvy and blue--curvy.) Since, even cinched in, my waist and hips are nearly the same measurement, I figured this was the best choice. They are size 22WT (T is for tall) and boot cut. They are incredibly comfortable...so much so, I think I can leave them on most of the day!



I'm thinking of ordering another pair...perhaps in black or faded blue...but definitely in the regular length, not the tall (I think the shoe needs to show a bit more for a really girlish look), and possibly a size smaller (20W), for a tighter fit in the waist and ass. Any thoughts?



I'm wearing the white man-tailored blouse, black belt, gold jewelry, white hair bow, and black pumps with metal heels. It's blisteringly hot here (highs in the three-digit range), so I decided that--even in air conditioning--going without wig and makeup was the better part of valor...so all the cosmetics here are digitally applied.

Later this week, I'll begin a sort of review of my purchases in the first six months of 2010...and it should be cooler by then.

Blue Jean Baby Con'd.

I picked up the new blue jeans today and have tried them on. I think they fit and look terrific--I especially like the way they make my ass look! You all will see them some time next week at the earliest.

I'll definitely be ordering another pair, in another shade. These are classic denim...but they also come in black and faded blue. The next pair I may go shorter as well, so the shoes show a little more.
