Enchanted April 4

I always love to wear this jacket (from Burlington Coat Factory, long ago)...something about it just makes the bazooms go pop!, if you know what I mean. Here, it's teamed with a black lacy camisole from Kmart and a grey pencil skirt picked up at a thrift store. New in these pics is that I'm actually wearing a strapless bra.

Accessories: red hat, pearls, black belt, fishnet hose, croc-print pumps.

And another portrait:

More new clothes: This is the dress I bought at Target yesterday, after returning the one that didn't fit. I have explained how much I love polka dots, right? Maybe I should have named myself after this character?

Anyway, the dress is from Target's Mossimo line and is a filmy fabric with a black under-slip built in.

Accessories are the white hat, scarf, pearls, fishnet hose, and black patent pumps. I'd originally planned to wear black hose with this, but decided it needed a touch more sex appeal.

Enchanted April 2

The only new thing here is the shoes; more on them later.

This is a jersey knit dress with a henley collar, bought from Kmart about two years ago.

I really like the pose in that second shot...very sexy, huh? And how about those legs? A lot of that is the new shoes, I think. Accessories are white hair bow, silver jewelry, white belt, and dark hose.

And about those shoes:

Here's how Payless describes them:

Add an exotic edge to your look with this fabulous pump from Christian Siriano! It features a chic faux leather upper with a pretty peep toe and braid detail lining the midsole for a natural look, padded footbed for comfort with a hidden platform, and a 4" wrapped heel. Manmade materials.

And one more portrait:

More on Flickr; two more outfits tomorrow.

Enchanted April 1

Today was supposed to be a day of all-new clothing...but the new shirt dress I purchased at Target last week wound up being too tight across the bust. I've dealt in the past with minor "gaps" between buttons in such circumstances, but this was huge. I know, I know...the solution could have been just to reduce the size of my boobs--but I'm happy with the figure I've given myself and decided, as any real woman would, to take the dress back. (I got a different one while I was there that you'll see tomorrow.)

So that left the new skirt I got at Goodwill and a new pair of shoes to show off (unfortunately, they don't really go together). Let's start with the skirt--a lovely tartan kilt with a below-the-knee hem--yes, I do sometimes wear longer skirts!--and nice pleats. I wore it with that elegant white blouse with the pleated front.

The other accessories are a white hair bow, gold jewelry, white hose and black mary-janes.

And a portrait...see, sometimes I smile, too!

More pics on Flickr; another outfit, showing off those new shoes, later today.
