The Janus Syndrome: 2018-19

Every year about this time, I post about how well I met my goals for the old year and what my goals for the new year will be. (BTW, Janus is the two-faced Roman god who looked both backward and forward, making him the patron of doorways and of the new year, hence January being named for him.)

This year, I decided to go all the way back to the first of these I posted, on the cusp of 2012, and see how many goals I have achieved over the past seven years:

2012 goals:

1. Find that petticoat!

Finally did that this year! I now have a petticoat that works under a number of my knee-length or longer skirts.

2. Get out at least five or six times for a semi-drag "adventure". I need to build my confidence.

Doing this seems further and further from ever happening. I no longer have as much free time as I did.

3. Find an excuse to shave my mustache (hoping a theater role will require it this spring), so I can stop digitally removing it in photos.

Still not happening...doesn't look like it ever will.

4. Experience hypnotic trance. I've concluded this will require a real person as the hypnotist, at least on the phone, as virtual programs and recordings do not seem to work for me.

As you all know, this has finally become reality. thanks to the powers of my Mistress Lola.

5. Meet one of my on-line friends in person.

Still hasn't happened; may never at this point.

Goals for 2013:

2. New wig--short gray

This happened in 2013; it's now my most frequent look.

Goals for 2014 were somewhat limited, because of the possible change in home circumstances in May. However, here are a few:

1. Dress as often as possible, try for at least once a month after April 30.

For the most part, this has been achieved over the years, with a few exceptions, like the past couple of months.

3. Start doing more photo manipulation cartoons.

Yep, doing lots of those now.

My goals for 2015:

2. Never go more than two days without posting something here.

I am now posting every day, sometimes more.

Goals for 2016:

3. Finish a new story as often as possible (every two months?).

Well, I've started writing more lately, thanks to the inspiration from Mistress Lola. There's a story in the works now, but I've hit a roadblock on it; maybe I'll get back to it after January.

4. Start a tumblr page (not sure how it will differ from this blog, but I want to give it a shot).

Done...though it was almost eliminated when tumblr changed their guidelines. I seem to have avoided their censorship for the most part.

Goals for 2017:

2. Post almost every day....with a goal to breaking this year's posting total.

I've done that consistently from year-to-year. This year's total should be 370 posts, more than one a day.

3. Post more unusual stuff...like the recent one about the psychology of forced feminization.

I continued that on a weekly basis for more than a year, eventually running out of material. See below.

4. Cull the wardrobe of the stuff that doesn't really fit.

I've done some of this, I need to do more.

2018's goals:

4.
Experience trance with Mistress Lola at least four times during the year...hopefully even more!

Actually, we had five sessions together in 2018, for a total of nine since we began in fall of 2017. The next is tentatively planned for mid-January.

My goals for 2019:

1. Stop relying on art so much for posts. I need to start commenting on my own life and my own desires.

2. Find a way to get and obey regular instructions from Mistress Lola, to keep me submissive and feminine as often as possible.

3. Be myself--Pretty Sissy Dani--in mind and spirit, if not in body, whenever possible.

Happy New Year all!

Why do you need an excuse to shave your mustache?

Because if I took it off without a reason, my wife would be suspicious.

Why? Suspicious of what? She'd have to have some idea about this part of your life.

She knows Dani exists, but is not happy about it. If I took off the mustache, she'd know Dani was becoming more important.
