....with new clothes! This suit was a great find!

Accessories are a white camisole, white bow, black-and-white jewelry and natural hose. The shoes are Fioni "Hilt" red patent pumps from Payless in November 2009. The scarf was part of the suit!

Marching into Spring 3

More casual, less elegant, than the dress earlier today, but a fit look for the office, agreed?



I assume I bought both parts of this outfit on the same shopping trip ~ the black stretch t-shirt and black-and-tan print skirt are part of the Attention line at Kmart from March 2009; the shoes are Isaac Mizrahi black mary-janes from Target in November 2007 (the first shoes I bought on my return to dressing). Other accessories are a shiny bow, silver jewelry, silver belt, and patterned tights.

Marching into Spring 2

Finally back to dressing, starting with this elegant black-and-white ensemble.



The black-and-white jungle print dress with an empire waist is by Chaps, purchased at Kohls in March 2011; the shoes are Dollhouse "Harlot" croc-print pumps from Shoe Dept. in January 2010; other accessories are red bow, red jewelry, and patterned tights.



I like this portrait...and I'm surprised the new darker foundation is working as well as it is.

Further Marching Delayed

Back on Tuesday, I said I'd be dressing again today; a combination of factors made that impossible. I should be dressing again next Tuesday. In the meantime, some new art....

Marching into Spring 1

For a variety of reasons, I was only able to dress in one outfit today...but I think it's a winner:



The cute little knit dress is part of Kmart's Attention line, from March 2012; the shoes are Mossimo "Valonia" blue patent pumps from Target in March 2009; other accessories are silver jewelry and blue tights.



I had to get a new makeup foundation and went with what turned out to be a somewhat darker shade than my usual. I wasn't sure about it, but one of the things it seems to do is bring out the color of my eye makeup more than the lighter shade does, even in the full-length shots. Here are a pair of portraits ~ what do you think?
